SHORT MOVIE REVIEW - WRITING

Iron Man


I think that movie is amazing, so it had a sequence with the “Iron Man 2” and “The avengers”. I am a fan of the Downey and I think his work is incredible. He made other movies like “Sherlock Holmes”. I always say to other people to see this movie too, because like is as I said: it is so amazing, and very cool.

Pets help the Elderly
1 Is your dog crooning, “Will you still need me? Will you still feed me when you’re 64?” Answer him yes. A recent study suggests older people with pets have a better quality of life. The March issue of the Journal of American Geriatrics Society states that pet ownership in the golden years of life has a positive effect on seniors’ physical and mental well being.5 Caring for a dog or a cat can ease the loneliness of the elderly, as well as provide ample opportunities for psysical activity bolster overall health, the report states. The study was conducted by telephone interviews with more than 1,000 Canadian residents, all of whom lived independently and of which 286 had either a dog or a cat. And petting the pooch does more than just keep you fit, wire report said. Researchers think that the10 nurturing aspects of pet care give older people a sense of purpose. The added responsability in their lives encourages them to be less apathetic and more involved in daily activities. Also, pets give companionship to those owners without family and support systems, which helps them remain emotionally healthy during times of crisis, as compared to their non-pet owning14 counterparts, the study said.

ENGLISH IMPROVEMENT

I know that nowadays, learning English is a necessity. For this reason I do an online course. Therefore, I can listen the lessons, write texts, record my own voice, speak in English and I can talk with people who live in other countries.
Another way to learn, is listening to music. I love music and I listen them all the time. I watch some TV serials in English with subtitle too, this way I can listen how and what the characters are speaking. I think those attitudes are very important to improve my English.

When we do what we like it is easy to learn. One of the things I do is to read news topics that interest me in English.
I also listen to music and it’s nice when you’re curious to find out the meaning of the lyrics. In most of the case, I don’t’ know what I am singing.
I watch more subtitled films, and pay more attention in the people’s speech more than in the subtitles. Beyond of reading texts I do the school exercises.

I improve my English when I try to listen to music and watch movies with subtitles. Sometimes I also read texts looking up words in a dictionary. I also participate in some social networks site sharing information in English.

The main things I do to learn words in English or to speak are listen to music, translate lyrics and sing them. I like to learn English by watching movies and music. These are ways in which I learn and have fun at the same time.
To improve my English I always download some materials on the web, some news at British newspaper.
When there are some words or expressions that I don’t know, most of the times I don’t know any word, I try to translate them in a Google translator.
Even with my intense difficulty with the English learning I do my best to achieve my goals.
I have no interest in learning English, but I realize it is necessary for my occupation. To improve my speech, I usually listen some songs, play games, and watch some movies.
